How FileYourClaim handles your data. Short version: we collect very little and we never sell it.
FileYourClaim is designed to be privacy-friendly. We do not require an account, and you can browse the entire site without providing any personal details. The only personal information we collect is your email address, and only if you choose to sign up for our settlement alerts.

This cookie does not contain any personally identifiable information. It simply records whether you have completed the free unlock step.

Our site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes visitor IP addresses to provide security, bot protection, and performance. Cloudflare acts as a service provider and does not use this data for its own marketing.
Our site links to third-party websites, including official settlement claim sites operated by settlement administrators and courts. These websites have their own privacy policies and data collection practices that are independent of FileYourClaim.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site before submitting personal information to file a claim. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites.
We work with multiple affiliate partners (for example Branded, Testerup, Freecash, and Nielsen) to keep FileYourClaim free. When you click a partner offer, you pass through one of our tracking links, and the affiliate partner may set their own cookies to:
These cookies are governed by the affiliate partner's own privacy policy, not ours. We do not have access to or control over third-party cookies.
Some gated content offers an optional paid skip as an alternative to completing a free partner offer. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe on Stripe's secure checkout page. We never see, collect, or store your card details. The paid skip is never required to view settlements or to file a claim.
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only with the service providers that help us run the site: AWeber (stores your email address and sends our settlement alerts), Google Analytics and Ahrefs Analytics (anonymous usage statistics), Stripe (payment processing if you choose a paid skip), and Cloudflare (security and content delivery). These providers may use your data only to provide their services to us.
The anonymous analytics data we collect is used internally only to improve the site.
If you sign up for settlement alerts, we store your email address with AWeber, our email service provider, and send roughly one to two emails per week about new settlements and money offers. Every email includes an unsubscribe link that works instantly. You can also email us at [email protected] and we will remove you. We never sell or share your email address for anyone else's marketing.
You can browse the entire site without giving us any personal information. You can unsubscribe from email alerts at any time using the link in any email. You can clear our cookies and localStorage data through your browser settings. You can also ask us to delete your email address and any other data we hold about you by writing to [email protected], and we will honor the request.
FileYourClaim.co is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can address it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
